The Foreign buyer report for 2022 shows which people from countries are buying the most homes in the US. Since homes prices in the US are far lower than most of the developed world it has been a great opportunity for people from other countries to buy houses in the US.

People from Canada, Mexico, China and other countries are the top countries buying homes in the US. Real estate in the US has been a great investment considering we have very strong property rights and relatively low prices.
