Most people use all the terms interchangeably, but there are numerous differences with agents vs Realtors as well as agents vs brokers. The biggest difference is the type of real estate license as well as the level of responsibility.
While all Realtors are real estate licensees, and people with real estate licenses, such as a broker or salesperson are not necessarily Realtors. Most people who are broker and salespersons can be called “real estate agents” but that doesn’t mean that they are the same.
