Top 10 States That High Income Genx Buyers Moving To

GenX high income earners that make over $100,000 a year in income are one of the fastest relocating demographics in the US. They are moving to other states. mostly to avoid high tax structures. All of the top 10 states that genx workers are moving to are low or no income tax states. In addition many of these states have lower costs of living than the high tax states as well.

Todd and Oana talk about the places that this critical demographic are moving to and how it affects real estate in those markets. States like Illinois, California, New York and New Jersey are losing people moving to Nevada, Florida, Texas, Tennessee, Idaho, Arizona and other low tax states. GenX are more vritical than baby boomers in this regard since they will likely tend to remain put after relocating, since they will likely stay until their retirement, which isn’t going to be until 15 or more years for most GenX.
