Real Estate Prediction from COMES TRUE! Why it’s STILL True Today.

In 2013 there was fear that the real estate market would crash because of the shadow inventory in Las Vegas. Todd asked Oana about the shadow inventory and whether or not home prices would fall. Other agents were making videos saying the shadow inventory would cause home prices to fall and to sell your home! It turns out selling in 2013 would have been a huge mistake.

Its still true today that these false narratives about why the housing market will crash are mostly built on worse case scenarios. Housing in the US is fundamentally strong and there is little likelyhood that there is a long-term risk to home prices in the US.

Looking forward to 2023 and 2024 home prices are still forecast to rise despite rising interest rates. Just like our prediction in 2013 came true we believe that in 2023 and 2024 home prices could even be higher than 2022 across the US. Certainly in some markets like Boise, Las Vegas, Phoenix and Austin where there was a high level of home buying, the increases in home prices might be less than other market. I
