The boomers will die in the next decade and there will be no people left to buy their homes, causing a massive oversupply and crash in the housing market. The other theory is that we are currently overbuilding homes for Millennials now and that will leave us with a housing bubble as the boomers die. Are we just putting off the housing crash until the 2030s?

Researchers (who have yet to take credit for their brilliant discovery) have determined that we will have a housing crash in the next decade. One thing they did not consider is that the US population will be about 22 million people more in the next 10 years. Their analysis of the housing market takes into account no births and no immigration, and that homebuilders will keep building.
