Todd explains that there isn’t a housing bubble in Las Vegas.

Hello. Welcome to Todd Miller TV. I want to talk about the Las Vegas housing bubble or at least that’s what people are saying. They’re saying there’s a bubble here in Las Vegas. I don’t agree with it and this is why.

OK. So home prices went up last year 20 something percent and the last time this happened was in 2004 and then 2005, they went up 50 percent. Then we ended up being way above where we should be. So now prices are going up. To people on the street, it looks the same, multiple offers. So it’s a bubble. It’s a bubble. Well, not the case. This is why. (more…)

North Las Vegas Eminent Domain

Todd and Oana discuss the implications and the terrible idea that the City of North Las Vegas has about using eminent domain to remove legitimate mortgages that are on properties, and replace them with their own mortgages.  The group that is proposing this, Mortgage Resolution Partners, has failed to get this in place in other counties.

So as you’re probably aware, if you have a medical problem, you go to a medical doctor and you typically go to somebody called a specialist. It’s somebody that that’s all they do. They’re really good at it.

Hello. Welcome to Todd Miller TV. Quick update today, this is for all the people who have been frustrated getting a house and those investors as well who said they’re going to wait a couple of years when all the REOs hit the market.

Well, there is nothing to indicate that is going to happen. So I know that there’s this conventional wisdom or common misbelief going around that there’s going to be this flood of properties. We’ve been hearing about this now for three years. It’s not going to happen. (more…)
